Apps age in two ways: they fall behind the server, and they pile up temporary files. The first needs an update, the second needs a cache clear. They look similar from the outside, since both show up as slow screens or errors, so it helps to know which to try. We cannot see KX8's current version, because we did not install the app, but the method below works for most apps.
How updates arrive
Apps that come from outside a store do not always update themselves. The app may show a prompt, or you may need to open KX8's own site and take the newer file. Treat a prompt that arrives by message or in a chat group as a warning sign; real updates come from inside the app or from KX8's own pages.
Make a note of the version number in the app's settings when you install. Without it, you cannot tell whether an update changed anything.
Clear the cache first
Clearing the cache removes temporary files, and it does not delete your account, because your account lives on KX8's servers. On Android, open the app info screen and choose Clear cache. Do not choose Clear data unless you are ready to sign in again with your password.
This one step solves many cases of endless loading, missing images and stuck screens.

When to reinstall
Reinstall as the last step. Before uninstalling, make sure you know your username and password, since Clear data or a fresh install may sign you out. Download the new file only from KX8's own site. Update the phone too
Phone system updates matter because newer apps assume newer software. If your device cannot update any further, the browser route may be more reliable.
