Andar Bahar is among the simplest card games on any live lobby. One card is turned up, and the question is which side, Andar or Bahar, gets its twin first. There is little to learn and a lot of rounds to play, which makes the pace the main thing to manage. This guide covers the rules, the bets and the numbers. KX8 would host any table; we do not confirm one.
How the game runs
The dealer reveals a joker card. Cards are then dealt alternately to the Andar and Bahar sides until a card matches the joker in rank. The side that receives the match wins. Players bet before dealing starts, and some tables allow a limited amount of betting on how many cards are dealt.
Most of the rules on screen are about payouts rather than play. Since you make no decisions once the chip is down, a round is over as soon as the match appears, which can be after two cards or after many. Rounds therefore vary in length, though the average stays steady.
Why the sides are nearly even
The first card dealt goes to one side, which gives it a slight edge for an early match. Tables handle this by paying the favored side a little less, or by deciding which side starts. Read the payout for each side in the rules panel; the difference is there to balance the start.
| Bet | Wins when | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Andar | Matching card lands on Andar | Payout can differ from Bahar |
| Bahar | Matching card lands on Bahar | Payout can differ from Andar |
| Side bets | Depends on table | Read the rules for each |
Pace and stake
A round is quick: reveal, deal, settle. At 30 seconds a round, you get 120 rounds an hour. With a ৳25 bet that is ৳3,000 in stake. If the sides pay unequal amounts, the long-run cost is similar either way, so choose the side by preference and size the bet by budget.
No pattern to follow
Tables often display a history of recent winners, in a grid of colored dots. It is tempting to bet the side that has been "cold". The cards are shuffled and dealt independently, so the history does not change the next match. Read the hot-hand piece for the thinking trap behind this.
Where to find tables
We did not confirm KX8's live table list when we checked on 7 November 2026, so look in the live lobby on KX8's own site or app. You may also like Teen Patti.
