Teen Patti is familiar to many readers from home games, where it is played among friends with a pot. On a live table, it is usually packaged as a house game with fixed bets instead. This guide covers the hand rankings, the two main formats and a plan to manage your stake. KX8 would host any live version; we do not confirm which, so read the rules on the table.

Hand rankings

Each player gets three cards. From highest to lowest, the usual ranking is below. Some tables vary the order of a few hands, so confirm in the rules.

  • Trail (three of a kind)
  • Pure sequence (straight flush)
  • Sequence (straight)
  • Color (flush)
  • Pair
  • High card

Home game versus live table

At home, players ante a boot amount, bet in turn and may fold. In many live versions, the dealer deals two or three hands and you bet on which will win, often with side bets on hand type. That makes the live format closer to a comparison game than a bluffing game.

Because there is no bluffing against other players, there is no skill edge from reading faces. What remains is choosing bets and sizing stakes.

If you grew up playing the home version, expect the live one to feel quieter. There is no table talk to read and no pot to build, just a short betting window and a result. Treat it as a separate game that happens to share the rankings.

Side bets and payouts

Side bets, such as a pair plus or better, pay more for strong hands. They hit less often and cost the same each round. As with any extra bet, keep them small. Payout tables are shown on the screen and should be read once before play.

A stake example

If you bet ৳40 a round and a round takes a minute, an hour costs ৳2,400 in stake. Add a ৳10 side bet and it is ৳3,000. The side bet adds a quarter to your hourly stake, so decide on purpose whether it is worth it. Read about reading streaks in the hot-hand article.

Where to find tables

We did not confirm KX8's live table list when we checked on 7 November 2026, so look in the live lobby on KX8's own site or app. Similar quick comparison games are Dragon Tiger and Andar Bahar.

Your questions

What is the best hand in Teen Patti?

Usually a trail, which is three cards of the same rank. Check the table rules for any variation.

Can I bluff in live Teen Patti?

In most live house versions you bet on a hand outcome rather than against players, so there is nothing to bluff.

Does KX8 offer Teen Patti?

We did not confirm it on 7 November 2026. Check the live lobby on KX8's own site or app.

Do side bets improve my odds?

They pay more when they hit but hit less often. They add cost, so keep them small.
